Yard Supervisor
Yard, Mina Abdallah · Full timeRuns the yard day to day: receiving loads, directing sorting and grading, keeping the cutting and baling moving, and making sure the yard stays safe and orderly while it does.
What the role needs
- Experience in a scrap yard, steel yard or similar operation
- Able to identify and separate ferrous and non-ferrous grades
- Comfortable directing a crew and enforcing safe practice
- Arabic or English, and a valid Kuwait residency
Weighbridge and Records Clerk
Yard, Mina Abdallah · Full timeWeighs every load in and out, issues the weight ticket against it, and keeps the record that follows material from collection through to disposal or sale. The accuracy of this role is what clients settle against.
What the role needs
- Careful with numbers and paperwork, and unwilling to guess at either
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic office software
- Weighbridge or logistics documentation experience is an advantage
- Arabic and English, and a valid Kuwait residency
Heavy Vehicle Driver
Kuwait, site to yard · Full timeCollects material from client sites and brings it to the yard. Works to the access rules, permits and timings the client sets, and is often the only person from the company the client sees that day.
What the role needs
- Valid Kuwait heavy vehicle licence
- Experience with trailer, tipper or roll-off work
- Clean driving record and a careful approach to load security
- Willing to follow client site inductions and permit systems
Sales and Purchasing Executive
Office, Fahaheel · Full timeHandles both sides of the trade: quoting operators and contractors for site clearance, and offering graded material to mills, foundries and export buyers. Follows an enquiry through from the first call to the loaded container.
What the role needs
- Experience in metals, commodities or industrial supply
- Able to price on grade rather than average a lot into one rate
- Confident dealing with procurement teams and overseas buyers
- Arabic and English, both written and spoken
