Disposal contracts and scrap purchases
For oil and gas operators, main contractors, industrial sites and demolition companies with material to clear. Both commercial routes are set out below.
Two commercial routes
Which route applies depends on the material, not on the size of the job. It is established at survey and confirmed in writing before any load moves.
We purchase the material
Where the scrap carries value we bid or quote for it, pay against grade and recorded weight, and remove it at our own cost.
We quote for clearance
Where material is low value, heavily mixed, contaminated or difficult to access, the clearance is priced as a service and quoted before work starts.
Net settlement
Where a job contains both, the value of the recoverable material is offset against the cost of clearing the rest, and the balance is settled in whichever direction it falls.

Oil and gas operators
Decommissioning scrap, surplus plant and shutdown material, handled through the operator’s own disposal process.
Main contractors and EPC firms
Working under the contractor running the shutdown, dismantling or construction package.
Industrial sites and workshops
Factories, fabricators and workshops with production scrap or redundant equipment.
Demolition and construction
Structural steel, rebar and mixed metal arising from demolition and site clearance.
How a disposal contract works
Five stages, in the order they happen on site.

Site clearance
Decommissioning scrap, redundant plant, pipe, structural steel and cable removed from your site with our own transport and labour.
- 02
Segregation at source
Material is separated into ferrous and non-ferrous streams before it leaves your site, and each grade is accounted for on its own.
- 03
Weighing
Every load is weighed and a weight ticket is issued against it, recording gross, tare and net.
- 04
Documentation
A record follows the material from collection through to disposal or onward sale.
- 05
Settlement
Settled grade by grade against the recorded weights, in whichever direction the balance falls.
What we need from you
- Site location, access arrangements and any permit or induction requirements
- An outline of the material, its condition and roughly where it sits on site
- A site contact who can authorise loads to leave
- The documentation your procurement process requires from a contractor
What you receive
- A weight ticket against every load, showing gross, tare and net
- A record of the material from collection through to disposal or onward sale
- A settlement priced grade by grade against the recorded weights
- The site left clear of the material covered by the contract
How we can be engaged
- 01
Tenders and auctions. We bid for scrap lots offered by tender or auction and can be added to bidder lists.
- 02
Direct enquiry. A survey is arranged from the details of the site and the material.
- 03
Approved vendor lists. Prequalification documentation is completed on request.
- 04
Subcontract. We work under the main contractor holding the package.
Materials accepted
Redundant plant and vessels, pipe and structural steel, cable and wiring, machinery, tanks, and mixed yard accumulation. Ferrous and non-ferrous both.
Documentation
Procurement teams work to their own approval list. Tell us what yours requires and the documentation is completed and returned, including prequalification and vendor registration forms.
